This Salvation Army is dedicated to serving the community by helping people to find health, hope, and stability.
The programs provided by the San Francisco Salvation Army for drug rehab include the following:
- A seniors' residence with 257 units
- A congregant meal program for seniors in 3 neighborhoods
- Meals That Heal
- A meal delivery program for homebound seniors
- Other critically ill persons in the Tenderloin neighborhood
- Alcohol and drug rehabilitation programs for adults
- Social service caseworkers in 5 neighborhoods

If you are a part of a service club, company, organization, or school that likes to serve together, you can join the San Francisco Salvation Army for drug rehab for an hour or all four on the Celebrity Bell Ringing Day. The Harbor House childcare volunteers will assist staff and fellow volunteers with childcare for children ages 0-5 years, while their parents attend recovery meetings, parenting classes, and/or computer classes. Volunteers are needed on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings.
If you enjoy interacting with the public for a good cause, you can join the Holiday Bell Ringer for their annual kettle campaign as they raise funds to provide social services in San Francisco 365 days a year.
